Scary Wombat

Sarah is REALLY getting into the scary and downright morbid aspects of Halloween.

Me: *messaging on my phone*
Sarah: What are you doing, Mommy?
Me: I'm messaging my friend Adrienne.
Sarah: Oh. Is she dead?
Me: What? No she's not dead. She's in Chicago!
Sarah: *giggles*

Are you smarter than a Wombat?

While watching "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?"

Sarah: am I smarter than a 5th grader?
Me: I bet you'll be a very smart 5th grader when you get there!
Me: Am I?
Sarah: I dunno. Grownups are pretty smart, but so are 5th graders.

Inventor Wombat

Robert brought Sarah a magnet building toy. She has made many things, but this is my favorite. It is (in her words) "a machine to send out colors to the whole world."
